Description Ryan (Rjd0060) 2014-10-19 17:29:39 UTC
However it needs to be done, there is no reason for patrolling edits on this wiki. Therefore marking pages as needing to be patrolled or "not yet patrolled" is unnecessary.

Can this please be disabled in whichever way is appropriate?
Comment 1 Glaisher 2014-10-19 17:32:47 UTC
This is only for new pages, right? wgUseRCPatrol (edits only) is false by default on Wikimedia. Just to confirm.
Comment 2 Alex Monk 2014-10-19 17:40:04 UTC
Looks like it.
Comment 3 Alex Monk 2014-10-19 17:40:18 UTC
Though I wonder if we should do this for all private/fishbowl wikis...

That would probably make sense.
Comment 5 Glaisher 2014-10-20 04:50:28 UTC
+CC Philippe and James - asking for opinions whether it is okay to do this on all fishbowl/private wikis.
Comment 6 Philippe Beaudette 2014-10-20 06:12:33 UTC
I've got no objection. Seems to make sense to me, in the absence of anything James knows that I don't. (which is, sometimes, a rather substantial amount).
Comment 7 James Alexander 2014-10-20 06:16:20 UTC
nah, no issue, if we have people on a fishbowl/private wiki causing issues then it is almost always an issue that new pages patrol isn't going to help.
