Red color for link and blue background for language is not applied to the text

Environment- test2

1> Insert an internal link, the target is shown in red color.
2> Now while the cursor is at the last character of the link ,select the language annotation.
3> Click Done on the inspector and type in some text. Notice although the context menu shows both Language and link labels, but the text typed is not red in color(indicating a link) and also the background color for language annotation is not applied to it. Appears as plain paragraph text.Move the cursor back and forth on the entire text , still no change. However, when you go to new line by pressing enter key it does appear.

See screenshot.

In beta, the background color for language gets applied immediately but the link color takes effect only after you hit enter key to go to a new line.

I widened the scope of bug 72108 to include this bug without realizing this bug existed, so I might as well merge them now.
