Presuming this is pre-wmf5 not pre-wmf15. :-)
Comment 2 Roan Kattouw 2014-10-22 01:11:31 UTC
Yeah searches on beta labs are very slow right now. This is also true for the link inspector. I think this is specific to beta though, because suggestions work fine for me locally.
Comment 3 Roan Kattouw 2014-10-22 01:28:02 UTC
I have confirmed that search suggestions are working in production, but are very slow on beta labs and return 0 results after like 5 seconds.
Comment 4 James Forrester 2014-10-22 01:34:45 UTC
Moving to Beta Labs.
Comment 5 Sam Reed (reedy) 2014-10-22 06:33:44 UTC
Didn't Chad remove numerous search instances from beta?

Chad/Nik? :) Search is slow on Beta Cluster.

https://tools.wmflabs.org/nagf/?project=deployment-prep#h_deployment-elastic01_cpu isn't helping me much (there doesn't seem to be much data).
Comment 7 Chad H. 2014-10-22 23:28:55 UTC
deployment-elastic01 through 04 don't exist anymore.

They're replaced with deployment-elastic05 through 08.

Trusty > Precise.

All patches mentioned in this report were merged or abandoned - is there more work left to do here (if yes: please reset the bug report status to NEW or ASSIGNED), or can you close this ticket as RESOLVED FIXED?
