Lexing_error

Steps to reproduce: 

1. Open VE-Edit - type e.g. 234÷x≥1100(using Insert-Special character for ÷ and
≥). The expression is displayed without any error. 

2. Copy it and paste into Insert-Formula - 'Failed to parse(lexing error)' is displayed.

3. Using Option-keyboard keys - enter some expression using Option button on Mac: 
e.g. √23 + √24≤µn (Option+v for √, Option+< for ≥, and Option+m for µ) - copy and paste into Formula: 'Failed to parse(lexing error)' is displayed.

This is because LaTeX doesn't allow non-ASCII characters. :-(
