Saving articles with example codes in it, makes new lines and monospace fonts disappear and the output becomes simple text which is very unpleasant to read.

Please provide steps to reproduce or an example link.

1. Go to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C_(programming_language) for example.

2. Download as pdf.

3. Look at the paragraph >>"Hello, world" example<< where you can see the code as a simple text, wrapped and unformatted.
