Argh. I mean https://pt.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=40387008 and similar issues; this is unrelated to bug 72048. Sorry.

This is a strange bug ...

* I cannot see any DSR warnings or errors reported when I parse the specific oldid or the current revid.
* I cannot figure out how to edit a [[a|b]] to [[A|b]] in VE since the href is normalized to upper case. So curious how the links got edited there in that diff.
* The off-by-2 diffs everywhere is very suspicious .. and the extra chars aren't consistent with what you see with a off-by-2 dsr error .. i.e. if original wikitext is "<math>foo</math> bar" and you had an off-by-2 dsr error there, you should see "ath>foo</math> b bar", i.e. the 2 extra chars after </math> should match the 2 chars in following content. But if you see the diff, that is not the case everywhere.

So, lot of weirdnesses there ... recording findings here for now.
