Compare <math>\bar{z} = \overline{z}</math>. The bar over the first ''z'' is to be seen hardly. At the moment, I recommend to replace \bar by \overline like in other parts of the formulas.

Environment: de-Wikibooks - user preferences - rendering with MathML and SVG/PNG
