Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page (in a desktop browser)
2. Click in the search box to activate search overlay
3. Click on the rest of the page

Expected result: Search overlay disappears
Actual result: nothing

Tapping seems to work, but not clicking. Tested in Firefox and Chrome.

I was hoping maybe this would be fixed for free by https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/169582/, but no luck.

This behaviour only seems to be present on iOS for some reason. I'm not sure how important this is to be fixed or what the behaviour should be.
