Watchlist does not show individual uploads to watched files on the Commons. What it does is this:

09:31 	(Upload log)‎ . . [Delphi234‎ (2×)]

The the upload log link goes to the upload list for ALL of the Commons: 
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Log/upload
So that is a useless link. 

The user name link goes to the user page. Also useless. The only thing it does is take one to the page where one can click the user contribution link. But that can be cluttered with many contributions on some days. 

So I can not help update file pages with an updated description to match the updated file. I do this for various file pages on the Commons.
