Environment- production, beta 1> Cite -> Basic. Type a name in the “Use this Group”. Type some text in the sub-editor to make the insert button active and click to insert. 2> Cite -> Re Use. Select the Reference from the list. 3> Notice a label shows up with General References and the Group name momentarily, before the reference gets inserted to the main editor. See the screencast(pause it at 0.07). In beta, it appears on the top-left corner of the page.

Difficult to reproduce - I caught it once in betalabs Chrome. Maybe it related to network connectivity?
I think I might have fixed this in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/170784 (which is the fix for bug 72783).
Provisionally marking as such.
It looks as the issue is gone - checked it in betalabs on Safari, FF, Chrome, and IE11.
Verified in test2.
Reopen this issue.Steps to reproduce are the same as above. See screencast at http://youtu.be/bhaPQLNC4ZU(pause it at 0.05).
Yes, I saw it again in test2 - it's still not 100% reproducible. Now for Re-use references in test2, I got Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined VM1516:174ve.ui.MWReferenceDialog.useReference VM1516:174ve.ui.MWReferenceDialog.onSearchSelect VM1516:172oo.EventEmitter.emit VM1507:6ve.ui.MWReferenceSearchWidget.onResultsSelect VM1516:158oo.EventEmitter.emit VM1507:6OO.ui.SelectWidget.selectItem VM1507:147OO.ui.SelectWidget.chooseItem VM1507:148OO.ui.SelectWidget.onMouseUp
Re-tested it - the bug still exists in test2 and production. The best way to reproduce it - use FF - when inserting a Basic citation do not use General references- type some other name there
Elena, so it does not appear in Betalabs?
It turned out that Chrome displays the issue even better than FF. So, better see it there.
The bug exists in beta, test, and production. I've attached the screenrecording - it shows the issue somewhat slower than in the previous attachment.
