Hmm, this seems to be a problem of https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Multiple_image :/ We could force a max-witdh, but i think the best would be to change the "width" inline-style property to a "may-width"? This would solve this problem directly in the page output. What do you mean? :)
