Description Ritu Swain 2014-11-10 17:59:18 UTC
Environment- test2, beta

Just like media files , the gallery also does not take link or any annotations. But the behavior is inconsistent in Chrome when compared to FF.

Tested in Chrome 38 and FF 33.1.

1> In a blank page, insert a Gallery with some caption
2> Click to highlight the gallery and while it is still highlighted, select to insert link.
3> In FF, the link inspector opens above the Gallery.
In Chrome, the link inspector opens and closes in a split second.

The same thing happens when trying to language annotations to a Gallery.
1> > insert a Gallery with a file name and caption
2> Click to highlight the gallery and while it is still highlighted, select to apply language.
3> In FF, the langauge inspector opens below the Gallery.

In Chrome, the language inspector opens and closes instantly.

Confirmed - and as in bug 73226 - an inserted Gallery should be the first element on a page to display the described issue.
