In Meta Wiki, I was presented this message: The page "User:Purodha/Suggestions for Wikis hosting several Dialects" (links, delete) has been moved to "User:Purodha/ Suggestions for Wikis hosting several Dialects." (links, delete, revert). Followeing the (delete) link, I was informet, that had insuffient rights to delete the unneccessary redirect, and was sent to the main page. I believe, good software should not display links to non-actions or present impossible choices. It schould rather show the label but not make it a link (as often done elswehere in MediaWiki) or omit the useless link. I believe, this should be handled by a standard procedure for all such cases. This would even allow a switch in [[Special:Prefences]] of the type "Show links to actions that you have insufficient rights for: o No o As text only o Always as a link"
The links in this case come from system messages, and are not supplied by the software.
