I am currently not receiving emails when a page on my watchlist changes, or when my user talk page is changed. The "E-mail me when a page on my watchlist is changed." and "E-mail me when my user talk page is changed" checkboxes are checked on my preferences page. I have tried unselecting the checkboxes, saving them, then reselecting them. I have tried changing my email, confirming, then changing it back and confirming. I do receive emails for password resets. I have checked my spam filter for the e-mails. I recently initiated a login unification (to unify my en.wikipedia and wikimedia accounts), and accidentally clicked to try to unify with a Lotze account on de.wikipedia.org (which does not belong to me); the unification is still not complete. I do not know that this is related. Many thanks!
$wgEnotifWatchlist is not enabled on enwiki. Special:Preferences shouldn't list it.
These email options are available on my preferences page: > Enable e-mail from other users > Send me copies of e-mails I send to other users > E-mail me when a page on my watchlist is changed > E-mail me when my user talk page is changed > E-mail me also for minor edits of pages > Include my email address when other people are notified of changes I make
Deletion of a page can me traumatic. What's worse is if it is there on your watchlist and it gets deleted, and you don't get any mail about that fact. Can you watchlist pros confirm that is in fact what happens, so I can open a new bug about it.
Fixed in r52762
(In reply to comment #3) > Deletion of a page can me traumatic. OK, one can see the delete log on the watchlist. Didn't test mail. Noting that this was an often discussed issue on bugzilla, and... bye!
