When a tag is nested inside another tag with the same name and the second instance is not preceded by a whitespace, the tag is incorrectly ended there in the rendered HTML: <tt>outer <tt>inner</tt></tt> is rendered correctly as <tt>outer <tt>inner</tt></tt> Whereas <tt>outer<tt>inner</tt></tt> is rendered as <tt>outer</tt>inner The same issue is present with other formatting tags, such as <b>, <i> and <em>.
Issue is only present with tidy enabled.
