Was doctype recently changed to HTML5? Someone is mentioning that may be causing the problem - similar to 2009 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Village_pump_%28technical%29/Archive_67#Twinkle_stalling
Yes it was changed: "15:39 ... 'Enable $wgHtml5 on all wikis'" http://wikitech.wikimedia.org/view/Server_admin_log

Stop screen scraping! It's the devils work!
Reverted to Html4 for now. We probably want to set a date for when a new switch is attempted. Advertise the date, warn the scriptwriters, summarize which techniques are likely to break, provide them with a link to a testing environment for their scripts.
Awaiting inevitable recurrence after we execute bug 27478 again, but fixed for now..
I'm reopening this to report the same bug which appears in our si.wiki (Sinhala-Sri Lanka) We've added Twinkle to our common files, but now it isn't working. As same as user:7 said, it get stuck at "Data Loading.." It worked well before few months. But now, something went wrong.
Thambaru: I'm pretty sure it's not the same reason in the code, so I'm closing this ticket again. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Twinkle#Bugs_and_feature_requests for where to file Twinkle bugs. If it is clear (means: reasons) that this is a bug in MediaWiki code or the Wikimedia server configuration, please file a new ticket in bugzilla.wikimedia.org. Thanks.
