Created attachment 9419 [details] Recent changes In Malayalam Wikipedia (http://ml.wikipedia.org) While deleting some text from an article characters deleted count is showing incorrectly on Recent changes page. For example i have added the some text in a page (http://ml.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%E0%B4%89%E0%B4%AA%E0%B4%AF%E0%B5%8B%E0%B4%95%E0%B5%8D%E0%B4%A4%E0%B4%BE%E0%B4%B5%E0%B5%8D:Anoopan/test&curid=162636&diff=1103576&oldid=1068504) and it shows +59 as the count in recent changes. But, while deleting the text from the page ( http://ml.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%E0%B4%89%E0%B4%AA%E0%B4%AF%E0%B5%8B%E0%B4%95%E0%B5%8D%E0%B4%A4%E0%B4%BE%E0%B4%B5%E0%B5%8D:Anoopan/test&curid=162636&diff=1103577&oldid=1103576) it shows count as -5 only. Please see the screenshot also.
It seems the last character of every sizediff are cropped if the diff < 0. Is this true?
Yes.
I had a look at the database on Toolserver and see nothing unusual.
The problem exists everywhere. Please see this diff at sawiki. http://sa.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%E0%A4%AF%E0%A5%8B%E0%A4%9C%E0%A4%95%E0%A4%83%3AVssun%2Ftest&action=historysubmit&diff=142990&oldid=142527 In the history it is showing that pagesize has reduced from 98 to 15 bytes. But in recent changes & watchlist it shows only -8
(In reply to comment #4) > The problem exists everywhere. Please see this diff at sawiki. Actually the problem only exists on wikis which are not using the default number grouping pattern. r97793 is responsible for this.
What about metawiki? I think it is using default number grouping.
(In reply to comment #6) > What about metawiki? I think it is using default number grouping. Number grouping is based on your user interface language preference specified in [[Special:Preferences]].
Yes! Thanks Liangent.
Addressed in r102802. Thanks for reporting.
Now figures are showing well. But the minus mark (-) is not there. ie just is showing (250) instead of (-250)
(In reply to comment #10) > Now figures are showing well. But the minus mark (-) is not there. ie just is > showing (250) instead of (-250) Fixed in r103128. Sorry about that oversight.
Now it is OK
