Just a simple request. When viewing pages on Wikipedia I often need to follow multiple windows to learn new terms regarding my original search. (When learning about CP Violation on its page I need to learn many other topics to understand it, so I click on those links and go deeper into the rabbit hole.) Would it be possible to provide a small window with maybe the first few lines of an article when I hover my mouse over the link? so I don't have to open a completely new window to be able to progress.
There's an option in preferences for "popups" or "navigation popups" - it's available by default for all logged-in users on about twenty Wikipedias. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Tools/Navigation_popups Mousing over will show the first paragraph/few sentences + the first image. It's got a set of editing-oriented links as well, but you can always ignore these! (feature available, bug closed)
