Description Helder 2011-08-31 19:30:08 UTC
It would be very practical if the list of pages which links to a page which is being deleted could be displayed for admins when using "action=delete". This would help to fix the existent links on those pages (and to double-check if the page should really be deleted).

Each subpage item could have a link to edit them such as:
* Page 1 (edit)
* ...
* Page 123 (edit)

This request is similar to Bug #30666.

There is already a gadget which fetches first 10 links to a deleted page and its 5 most recent history entries.

As a workaround you can use that: https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Specjalna:Gad%C5%BCety/export/delete

MediaWiki:Deleting-backlinks-warning has a link to Special:WhatLinksHere if that is what you're looking for.
Comment 4 Helder 2014-08-01 12:19:53 UTC
Actually, my request was to show the list in the page itself instead of adding a link to another page. In other words, something similar to what was done for bug 16762 on r47469.
