When moving a page, there used to be an option (on WMF wikis) to automatically rename subpages as well, which has been de-activated due to misuse. While I understand the reasons for de-activating it, a compromise could be sought by showing, upon moving a page, the presence of subpages which would need renaming too (with either a link to "Special:Prefixindex/[Page]/" if there are such subpages, or the full list of subpages). This would ease the task of renaming while still preventing misuse. Thanks.

It's not deactivated, it's just admin-only. > While I understand the reasons for de-activating it, a compromise could be > sought by showing, upon moving a page, the presence of subpages which would > need renaming too (with either a link to "Special:Prefixindex/[Page]/" if there > are such subpages, or the full list of subpages). You can try Pathoschild's AJAX sysop script: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Pathoschild/Scripts/Ajax_sysop
My bad. I should have checked instead of relying on the Village pump's comments. It works indeed. I guess you can just close the bug. Thank you for the answer...
The idea is to give the information to non sysop users. Then they know sub pages has to be also moved. This could be extend to double redirects (that were automaticly resolved for few month)
Sorry, that script adds subpages on the deletion form, not the move form. Though it's probably very easy to add.
fixed in r47469.
