Under vector there is the popup "Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?" if one has made changes to the article. There should be a simple opt-out option (such as a preference setting) as this easily turns annoying for more experienced users with non-IE browsers. Also, the popup continues "Leaving this page will cause you to lose any changes you have made.". This is not true. As far as I know, MS IE is the only browser where this happens. So a browser test and/or a text change might be appropriate.
Changed "will" to "may" in r54664.
Thanks for fixing the message. But the main part of this request was to implement an opt-out option (such as a preference setting) as this easily turns annoying for more experienced users. Many editors using non-IE browsers regularly jump back and forth while editing and these editors are are already complaining loudly all over the place. (Reopen)

Thanks :-)
