Suggest adding a [show] link that lists the intermediate revisions. This could be implemented very easily by taking you to the history page, and preselecting the radio buttons corresponding to the current diff range. (It could also be implemented with fancy ajax, showing a list of diffs etc...but not important.) Justifying use case: 1) User checks 'related changes' and sees that a page has changed. Clicks "5 changes" 2) The diff shows dramatic changes. User wants to find out when a specific change was made. Current workaround: 3) User clicks eg the left "Revision as of ...", then progressively clicks "diff" pointing to the newer version. Proposed: 3) User clicks the "[show]" link. Sees the 5 diffs with edit summaries, jumps to a likely candidate. Note: Yes, the user can click the "history" tab. But, speaking as the user, it's very unintuitive. It's like you can see this diff spanning 5 revisions, and you just want to get into the cracks to see the individual diffs.
Isn't this the same as bug 12191?
