When correctly attributing a URL as an author of a work, the software flags it as too long. This is counterproductive.
Could you give us an example? Right now maxAuthorLength defaults to 100 chars.
100 chars isn't super long for a URL; especially if it's a name and a URL, you can easily go over that. This is 51 chars: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Brion_VIBBER This is 129 chars: http://ta.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%AE%AA%E0%AE%AF%E0%AE%A9%E0%AE%B0%E0%AF%8D:%E0%AE%9A%E0%AF%86%E0%AE%B2%E0%AF%8D%E0%AE%B5%E0%AE%BE
