An user reported at [[mw:Thread:Talk:Article feedback/Unexpected behaviour: rating appears when attaching "?action=purge"]] that the Article Feedback tool is being displayed when an anonymous user goes to a page such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States?action=purge , where the page content is replaced by the text ------------------------------------------- Clear the cache of this page? [OK] Purging a page clears the cache and forces the most current revision to appear. ------------------------------------------- It should not be enabled there.
Ugh... really ugly
oh: popping to highest (until I hear otherwise) since it may be a symptom of other problems. That, and its like an ugly wart.
(In reply to comment #0) > An user reported at [[mw:Thread:Talk:Article feedback/Unexpected behaviour: > rating appears when attaching "?action=purge"]] Since the previous link was broken, here is a new one: https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/mediawiki/wiki/Thread:Talk:Article_feedback/Unexpected_behaviour:_rating_appears_when_attaching_%22%3Faction%3Dpurge%22/reply (I hope it works / where is the preview button on bugzilla? )
Adding this to my todo list for today. Lowering priority a bit as purge action is very rare for anonymous users (especially considering they can't enable gadgets and there is no link to the purge-action anywhere by default for anonymous users (as well as for registered users)).
Fixed in r93813.
