GlobalUsage doesn't list file usage on the commons.
Did it before?
It doesn't really matter, there's no benefit from doing so "File usage" does that for you
I'm trying to use it from the api prop=globalusage and its broken. For example: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&prop=globalusage&titles=File:Mural%20in%20Northeast%20Pavillion,%20Thomas%20Jefferson%20Building%20by%20Elmer%20E.%20Garnsey%2011670u%20edit.jpg So now I have to add in the imageusage from the api list=imageusage, and I have to make the call to the commons api, or I'll miss the commons images. https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&prop=globalusage&titles=File:Mural%20in%20Northeast%20Pavillion,%20Thomas%20Jefferson%20Building%20by%20Elmer%20E.%20Garnsey%2011670u%20edit.jpg&guprop=pageid&list=imageusage&iutitle=File:Mural%20in%20Northeast%20Pavillion,%20Thomas%20Jefferson%20Building%20by%20Elmer%20E.%20Garnsey%2011670u%20edit.jpg Also, when I make a call from another wiki, enwiki, the commons page doesn't return the pageid, and acts as if its missing. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&prop=globalusage&titles=File:Mural%20in%20Northeast%20Pavillion,%20Thomas%20Jefferson%20Building%20by%20Elmer%20E.%20Garnsey%2011670u%20edit.jpg Also, does gufilterlocal work? Could you provide a working example?
I agree with you that adding the Commons files to the output would indeed be very useful. I'm a bit wary though that it might break assumptions on other users of the globalusage API.
