There have been reports on 4.0.4 that a user cannot type the key 9 in search This is likely to be the same problem as bug 38277 and might be fixed with an upgrade to Cordova User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.4; en-us; GT-P7510 Build/IMM76D; CyanogenMod-9.0.0) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Safari/534.30
Another report: User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.4; en-us; GT-P7510 Build/IMM76D; CyanogenMod-9.0.0) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Safari/534.30
To avoid confusion... this is the same report (the user agent is identical).
I've confirmed that just updating the targetSdk to 14 doesn't have any effect on this. :( Updating to Cordova 2.0 is possible to try but some plugins are broken by the change of DroidGap.ctx to LegacyContext type: * menu * WebIntents * ApplicationVersion Will try just ripping that out to make sure if it works... and... yes that seems to work. :D We'll need to update things. Whee!

And another In the Wikipedia beta app for Android it is not possible to enter the number 9 in the search box in any way, no matter what input method is used. This is on the Samsung Galaxy S3 with stock Android 4.0.4. This Problem doesn't exist in the stable Version.
