After the vote on meta for a new Wikivoyage logo we have a result ( https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikivoyage/Logo/2013/R2/Results/Runoff ) and legal has asked us to update the sites. I will be sending a commit to do this and copying in this bug. The logo for default: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2e/Wikivoyage-Logo-v3-small-en.png - https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Wikivoyage-Logo-v3-small-en.png

This seems wrong (or at best a temporary solution): localised language variants need to be made.

Aye, this has traditionally been a community area where they decide if they want to localize (many often don't because they want to keep the same branding) and I am MORE then happy to help get the logo up for them whenever they are ready. After this week (where I'm swamped with the new Privacy policy draft coming out) I'm also happy to help local communities who need pointers or help localizing as well. I believe Maggie is reaching out to the logo designer to see if he has some pointers/time to help as well. Personally I'd love to wait if we were able to but given the legal issues the old logo we've been advised to make the switch now.

closing, think we got all of the major places this logo needed changing (including the two main ones mentioned in the title) I'm sure there will be a couple random places on the wikis but I don't think there is anything else that needs a commit.
