I just wanted to download The Count of Monte Cristo to read on my tablet. Validation of the file at http://validator.idpf.org/ failed with a ton of error messages (and the file could not be uploaded to my Google Books account). The issues turned out to be: * XML IDs must not start with numbers * & symbols must be escaped in XML. (After fixing them manually with sed etc. the file worked fine)
Hi Daniel, unfortunately this report is not very useful because it does not describe well how to reproduce the problem (step by step).
Really? Click on http://wsexport.wmflabs.org/tool/book.php?lang=en&format=epub&page=The_Count_of_Monte_Cristo And download a broken EPUB file. Done.
Yeah, really. I don't know every single wiki on Labs by heart. Sorry. ;)
Ah, well, ok, I understand. I did have User:Tpt in mind when I wrote the rudimentary report above. I have noticed him of this report. (https://fr.wikisource.org/w/index.php?title=Discussion_utilisateur:Tpt&diff=4273555&oldid=4245395)
I've fixed the issues in https://github.com/wsexport/tool/commit/36ba9fb84b7d4f04523a9e8a7568ab5256c736bd and https://github.com/wsexport/tool/commit/0dbdb9cfa1334039308299cbff86720ebd26de91 Please reports other issues directly in the "issue" section of the github repo: https://github.com/wsexport/tool/issues (I've added a link in the footer of the export form in order to be more discoverable)
