If you look at the current set of mobile apps/the mobile view of WP, the disclaimer is in the sidebar rather than the article. The problem with this is that it conceptually distinguishes it from the content...which is what the disclaimer covers. (Apology if I picked the wrong place)
Prioritization and scheduling of this bug is tracked on Mingle card https://wikimedia.mingle.thoughtworks.com/projects/mobile/cards/1599
Legal cleared that this design is OK as they are flexible as to where this disclaimer is.
What? This is nothing to do with legal obligations, this is simply to do with good and bad design. To access the disclaimer you need to transition away from the content, that content being what the disclaimer actually covers.
I think screenshots would help here.
I'll let Jared weigh in here. Jared feel free to WONTFIX if you think the current status quo is fine. No need to have a bug open if no work will ever be planned for it but Jared if you think it's design and we should consider it please jump in.
It seems to me, disclaimer, while about the content of the projects, is not specific to the current page, but more generally to the content of the project as a whole. Therefore due to that global nature, the left sidebar seems like a logical place to me.
Without a link or screenshot attached to this bug report, it's very difficult to follow.
