Created attachment 14535 [details] No hotcat A page from Sanskrit wikipedia is attached which shows no fecility to mention the category (hotcat).
How is this related to quality assurance component? Is hotcat a gadget? Is there a gadget section in bugzilla?
shubha: Please provide clear steps to reproduce. See https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug (Very likely this is not a bug report for Bugzilla, if the issue is in the HotCat code itself. We don't track Gadgets in Bugzilla.)
It looks like we talk about https://sa.wikipedia.org/ . shubha: Please provide steps to reproduce (see [[mw:How to report a bug]]), and could you please open the Error Console (or whatever it is called in your browser) and reload the page that you see the problem on? If there is a problem or an error with JavaScript it should be printed in that console. If this is selected, then if I open any article, there will show category +_ where one could add remove categories. But I am not getting this. I do not know how to solve this. I try to learn about web console as suggested.

What I tried: 1) https://sa.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%A4%B5%E0%A4%BF%E0%A4%B6%E0%A5%87%E0%A4%B7%E0%A4%AE%E0%A5%8D:%E0%A4%87%E0%A4%B7%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%9F%E0%A4%A4%E0%A4%AE%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%A8%E0%A4%BF#mw-prefsection-gadgets already looks very broken, displaying <gadget-HotCat> instead of the real names and descriptions. 2) Loading https://sa.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%A4%B9%E0%A5%88%E0%A4%A6%E0%A4%B0%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%AC%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%A6%E0%A4%A8%E0%A4%97%E0%A4%B0%E0%A4%AE%E0%A4%A3%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%A1%E0%A4%B2%E0%A4%AE%E0%A5%8D,_%E0%A4%AD%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%B0%E0%A4%A4%E0%A4%AE%E0%A5%8D?debug=true there is an error in the browser console, like TypeError: document.getElementsByClassName(...)[0] is undefined for https://sa.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%A4%AF%E0%A5%8B%E0%A4%9C%E0%A4%95%E0%A4%83:Hemant_wikikosh/saveandedit.js 3) "then if I open any article, there will show category +_ where one could add remove categories." I guess you mean "Categories (++):" at the bottom, and when I move the mouse over it it says "Modify several categories"? That works for me on https://sa.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%A4%B9%E0%A5%88%E0%A4%A6%E0%A4%B0%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%AC%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%A6%E0%A4%A8%E0%A4%97%E0%A4%B0%E0%A4%AE%E0%A4%A3%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%A1%E0%A4%B2%E0%A4%AE%E0%A5%8D,_%E0%A4%AD%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%B0%E0%A4%A4%E0%A4%AE%E0%A5%8D?debug=true using Firefox 27. If it does not work for you, please describe what you do, what happened, and what you expected, plus provide browser console output. Thanks!
